Researcher Appointed to Young Pharmacists Group

CHERE Researcher, Gisselle Gallego, has been appointed Project Coordinator of the 2006 – 07 Young Pharmacists Group Steering Committee.

The Young Pharmacists’ Group is a branch of the International Pharmaceutical Federation which represents more than a million pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists around the world.

The Young Pharmacists Group was formed in 2001 to help serve this sector of the profession and encourage more young pharmacists to get actively involved in international pharmacy.

The mission of the YPG is to help develop individuals who can act as agents of positive change at local, national and international levels, both in the profession and in society.

In the coming year the YPG will be hosting a conference entitled “Managed Health Care Systems” which will be looking at the latest healthcare system models.
